The Adamant Jazz Master Class with Armen Donelian, David Clark and George Schuller is a weeklong residential music retreat open to qualified musicians on all instruments. A working trio for the past eleven years, Armen, David and George offer decades of experience as acclaimed artists and dedicated educators. The focus will be on small group Jazz performance, improvisation and composition for four hours daily. Three combos will be formed, each tutored by the faculty who rotate individually between combos to provide a lively dialogue and exchange of ideas. Faculty will be available for private lessons by appointment during non-class hours. All participants have access to their own dedicated piano rooms 24/7 to pursue personal practice goals or form jam sessions with others. A final concert for the public will present works-in-progress. This is a special ooportunity to experience both camaraderie and solitude to pursue musical vistas. Meals are included. The 200-acre wooded campus in the Green Mountains of Vermont include ample recreational possibilities. Come Join Us!
