For fifty years, pianist, composer and Fulbright Scholar ARMEN DONELIAN has distinguished himself as a performer, recording artist, producer, educator and author.
In 25 countries across the Americas, Europe, the Middle and Far East, he has appeared in major venues as a featured solo pianist, band leader and with Jazz legends including Sonny Rollins, Chet Baker, Paquito D’Rivera, Mongo Santamaria and Billy Harper.
Donelian received an Artist Certificate in Classical Piano from the Westchester Conservatory of Music (1968), and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from Columbia University (1972).
Donelian’s distinctive music blends diverse influences from his Armenian origin, his Classical technique and his association with some of the biggest names in Jazz.
MICHAEL ZSOLDOS has performed with Paquito D’Rivera, Sheila Jordan, Ernie Watts, Jim McNeely, Matt Wilson, Rebecca Parris, and Jerry Bergonzi.
His 2010 debut CD as a leader “Off The Cuff” with drummer Matt Wilson, bassist Martin Wind and pianist Miro Sprague was nominated for a Grammy Award in four categories.
Michael has arranged for and performed with the Dartmouth Gospel Choir and Chicago’s One Accord featuring Walt Cunningham, twice touring Europe and performing at the New Orleans Jazz Festival, Chicago House of Blues, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and President Obama’s inauguration.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Saxophone Performance from the Eastman School of Music (1993) and a Masters Degree in Music Theory from Michigan State University (2000).
